2027 Butts and Clucks Cook-off on the Bay FBA State Championship - Apalachicola, St. George Island, Eastpoint Florida

We here at the Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce that the 2027 Florida BBQ State Championship will be the Butts & Clucks Cook-Off on the Bay. The Applications are not ready yet, but they are coming soon. We wanted to let all of our teams know that this is our 10th anniversary of being a sanctioned FBA Contest. This year, teams will be competing for $16,000 in Cash & Prizes, Double Points for team of the year, and the title of State Champion. This year, the 10-4 BBQ Sauce contest will also be a sanctioned event through the FBA's 1 Day Contest designation on Friday, the 29th.

On Thursday, the 28th, the FBA will be holding a judging seminar, which you can sign up for on the FBA website.

To celebrate this milestone, we have gone back to our original logo from the 2017 Contest. Welcome back, Brisk!

Don't forget we have never had a repeat Grand Champion or a 2-time Grand Champion.

Also, Last Years Grand Champion Done Right Smokin was picked to Cook in the Jack

Save the Date: This is going to be a celebration for the record books. If you haven't been, this is the year to come to one of the best Compacations in the state. (Competition / Vacation)
