2027 CALL FOR ALL

THE 2027 CALL FOR ALL IS HERE!

The Carolinas Irrigation Association is planning another year of education, connection, and industry advancement—and we're calling on YOU!

We're looking for irrigation professionals, industry partners, and dedicated volunteers who want to help strengthen the irrigation industry across the Carolinas.

Here's how you can get involved:

SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE

Have expertise in irrigation design, installation, troubleshooting, water management, smart technology, or business operations? Share your knowledge through a presentation, webinar, or educational session.

We are actively seeking dynamic speakers and instructors to share engaging educational programming with our community. Please note: Priority is given to presentations from Carolinas Irrigation Members.

  • Annual Waterpalooza Conference - October 2027 (Raleigh, NC): 1–2 hour technical and business presentations offering approved CEUs.

  • Online Webinar Series: Focused, timely 1–2 hour virtual presentations addressing challenges, research, and industry innovations.

  • "Walk & Talk" Field Sessions: Highly engaging, localized outdoor presentations focusing on hands-on diagnostics, planning, design, and practical solutions (typically hosted for ~20 attendees).

KEY TOPICS OF INTEREST

  • Water Efficiency & Management
  • Irrigation Design & Installation
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  • Sustainable Practices
  • Business & Professional Growth
  • New Technologies

HOST AN EVENT

Our members love real-world, behind-the-scenes experiences out in the field.

We are looking for members and partners willing to host or donate their facilities for regional gatherings and educational tours!

  • Facility & Field Tours: We are seeking commercial sites, research facilities, equipment manufacturers, and golf courses to host upcoming localized "Walk & Talk" educational tours. If your site features an innovative irrigation management plan, specialized maintenance program, or recent system renovation, apply to lead a tour and connect with local peers.

  • Regional & Social Gatherings: Donate or sponsor space for local networking.

LEAD & SERVE

Carolinas Irrigation is member-powered from the ground up. Stepping into a volunteer role is the single best way to expand your professional network across North Carolina. We are actively seeking the following volunteer roles:

  • Board of Directors: Help govern and guide the future direction of CIA. (Note: Board service offers top-tier leadership experience and professional visibility; check with your licensing board regarding potential CEU/leadership credit, including NCICLB or NCLCLB applicability).

  • Education & Event Committee:  Shape our annual workshops, field days, and networking events while helping source top speakers, instructors, and topics for the Carolinas irrigation community.

  • Single-Event Volunteers: Lend a hand with registration, welcoming attendees, or tournament logistics for just a few hours.
