The deer and gators were out today with the sun, most of the day.  Weather was perfect for about 17 holes and the skys opened up and a waterfall came down for the first round best ball format.

Taking the first round lead, in the First Flight of the Championship Division, was Marissa and Ron Clontz posting a four under 68.  Just two shots back is Victoria  Tsurutis/Russell Hightower and Meredith Taylor with her dad Don Taylor sitting at 2 under par 70.  Just one shot back are the duos of Lea Venable/Shawn Venable and Emily Rapp/Jeremy Moore carding a one under par 71.
