This is just one of the ways the Council and its members were able to G.I.V.E. (Gift, Impact, Value, and Elements) in 2021.

GIFT. The Gift that keeps giving is the 14 Small Business Outreach Events. The Council takes great pride in working with our partners to increase education and awareness surrounding the HUBZone small business program. The following agencies and industry stakeholders are at the forefront in promoting equity and inclusion within the HUBZone business community.

IMPACT. Thousands of HUBZone participants were able to attend events that allowed them to efficiently navigate within the federal and private procurement space. Many of our partners developed customized presentations and tools to educate and empower the HUBZone Business Community.

VALUE. Outreach Events provided business assistance to the HUBZone Community helping them to successfully compete for government contracts as either primes or subcontractors. Additionally, many of these events focused not only on capacity building but the important issue of sustainability once they have received contracts. These events offered many of our members the exposure and visibility they needed to further increase their contracts.

ELEMENT. These Small Business Events are designed to allow for 360° Outreach to our members and stakeholders. This holistic outreach approach spreads across multiple business elements (Contracting, Matchmaking, Networking, Business Development, Procurement Assistance, Forecasting, Teaming [priming & subbing], Marketing, Media exposure, and Federal/State & Industry Updates) while catering to the HUBZone Business Sector.
