IMPACT 211 goes to Madison

February 11th was 211 Advocacy Day in Wisconsin. Representatives from local United Ways and six 211 contact centers throughout the state, including IMPACT 211, gathered at the State Capitol to elevate the importance of 211 in connecting people to essential resources.

Advocates met with legislators and shared stories from their communities to emphasize the need to sustain strong support for 211 as demand for services continues to grow.

IMPACT 211 serves the nine-county region of Southeastern Wisconsin including Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha, Dodge, Jefferson, Walworth, Washington and Ozaukee, and is the sole provider of after-hours coverage for the entire state.

In 2025, IMPACT 211 handled 314,563 customer contacts which accounted for nearly 70% of all 211 interactions for the year.

IMPACT Connect targets Waukesha County providers

Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) serving Waukesha County are invited to attend an information session and peer learning roundtable discussion about IMPACT Connect, hosted by member partner Pro Health Care.

IMPACT Connect features a secure, closed loop referral platform that enables organizations to send and receive referrals, track outcomes, and confirm service connections to ensure all clients get the resources they need. Join us for a live demo, hear from CBOs using the platform, and engage in discussion about strengthening coordinated care across our community.

IMPACT Planning & Evaluation seeks Director of Research & Evaluation

The Director of Research & Evaluation will lead community-based research and program evaluation across Southeastern Wisconsin. Reporting to the COO, this role oversees evaluation strategy, team leadership, partner engagement, and organization-wide data initiatives.

Nearly 70% of the people reaching out to IMPACT 211 for help are women, like Christina who is 27 weeks pregnant and hospitalized until she can safely deliver her baby. Christina called us concerned about how she will pay her bills and handle the medical expenses.

Follow-up surveys indicate that 98% of our clients know their next step or plan of action by the end of the call. Your support ensures that women like Christina can make it through life's toughest challenges.
