The Family Success Network

211s Collaborating in the Effort to Address Child Abuse

Help Network of Northeast Ohio, a blended center for 211 and 988, is honored to serve as the primary grant holder for the pilot site of the Family Success Network, an innovative child abuse prevention program. Since its inception, the program has experienced tremendous success and has now expanded to 9 additional counties, providing crucial support to more families than ever before.

A key factor in the program’s success has been the incredible relationships that families build with our dedicated team of Family Coaches. The collaborative efforts with Alta Care Group, which provides the Mahoning County Family Coach, and Cadence Care Network, which supplies the Trumbull County Family Coach, have been instrumental. Help Network provides the Program Manager, a Columbiana County Family Coach, and a part-time floating position to ensure comprehensive support across the region. These family coaches offer personalized guidance, helping families navigate challenges and empowering them to create lasting, positive change. Their commitment to fostering trust and connection has been imperative to the program’s impact.

The Family Success Network offers a wide range of voluntary services designed to empower families to thrive. Recognizing that families are the experts in their own lives, the program allows them to select from a flexible service array tailored to meet their specific needs. These services include parent education, independent living skills, family coaching, financial literacy training, and one-time financial assistance to help families achieve stability. By fostering a supportive environment where families can access the resources they need to succeed, the Family Success Network strengthens communities and helps prevent child abuse. As the program continues to grow, Help Network remains committed to empowering families and creating brighter futures for children across the region.

The FSN program is currently available in Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull Counties (Northeast FSN), Summit County (Summit FSN), Cuyahoga County (Cuyahoga FSN), Lucas and Wood Counties (Northwest FSN), and Brown, Clermont, and Hamilton Counties (Southwest FSN).
