Make-up Picture Day
Monday, September 30, 9:00 - 11:00 am
Hillview students will have an opportunity to make-up their school picture by appointment only. Schedule an appointment for your student by contacting iClicksmiles here .
Hillview Advisory Groups
Students and their facilitators met for the first time to discuss ownership of goals for the year. Each student went through a goal-setting process and created roadmaps to success on how to reach their personal and academic goals. We encourage parents to continue these conversations with their kids at home.
One Community Campaign- 13 Days Left! Have You Asked Your Employer About Corporate Matching?

Did you know that many employers will match your donation to the One Community Campaign here ? Corporate matching is critical in helping us reach our overall funding goals and it’s an easy way to make your donations go even further. Last year we received close to $500,000 from corporate matching, which was 80% increase from the prior year.

It’s easy!
Step One: Ask your HR Department if they have a matching program.
Step Two: Select “Menlo Park Atherton Education Foundation” as the recipient.
Step Three: Pledge the full amount on our website here so we know to look out for it or let your Outreach Steward know (it can take 3-4 months for us to be aware of your donation). Plus, it saves your inbox from further communication!

If you’ve already donated (thank you!), contact your company’s HR department about how to match your donation.

The suggested donation is $2,000 per student - the first $250 will go to your child’s PTO and the rest will go to the MPAEF. We appreciate your donation at whatever level you feel comfortable- our goal is 100% participation. Donate or pledge today! The campaign ends October 4.

Why I Donate :
Our children have had the privilege of attending Laurel, Encinal, and Hillview, with STEAM, Music, Art, Drama, Spanish Immersion and World Language, and Leadership. Our schools provide innovative ways to support and engage our students. The fundraising campaign every fall provides our children with these unique opportunities. We know our donations, no matter what amount, are vital and allow our children these opportunities to express themselves and grow as members of our community. We are so grateful that our company matches our donation. Investing in the education of our children is priceless. Lilia na and Branko Perazich

Hot Lunch Desperately Needs Volunteers!

The hot lunch program depends on volunteers to serve lunch every day. Parents generally volunteer once per month. The time commitment is less than an hour. The Monday and Friday teams need the most support. Hot lunch is a great way to meet other parents and gives you a chance to see your students in their natural habitat! Plus, you get a Lunchmaster meal credit per shift served. Email Becky Galvez here .
