This December marks the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth.

To celebrate, we are joining the Global Ode to Joy movement aimed a spreading joy this holiday season.

We will premiere a special musical video featuring students, teaching artists, staff, board, local musicians, and community partners. 🎶

Join us on Dec. 15 on YouTube at 12:00 pm for the our live video premiere and help us spread joy in our community!
A Note of Gratitude:
Nothing Bundt Cakes
Many thanks to Kellie Linton and her team at Nothing Bundt Cakes for continuing to support KO!

What Nothing Bundt Cakes appreciates about KO is “the diversity and inclusiveness. And of course, filling our world with music!”

"KO has a direct impact on Baton Rouge youth by enriching their lives with music, developing individual and team goals, and building confidence. We have a similar philosophy for our team - but with cake instead of music!” says Kellie.

We appreciate you, Nothing Bundt Cakes team, and are grateful to have you as a community partner!

Join Nothing Bundt Cakes in supporting Kids' Orchestra with a donation today.
Meet a Board Member:
Dr. Trang Huynh
Please meet our board member, Dr. Trang Huynh!

Dr. Huynh is an Ob/Gyn with Ochsner Health and she was inspired to join KO’s board because she believes “investing in children is the wisest decision our society can make.”

Her favorite musician is Josh Groban and if she could play any instrument, she’d play the saxophone.

“I see firsthand what music can do for a child’s development . . . KO provides mentoring & a safe environment for [children] to learn,” says Dr. Huynh.

Thank you, Dr. Huynh, for helping provide strategic direction for KO!
