Caleb Hunt has agreed to join Cheyenne Farmer, and Co-Chair our amazing Students Committee!! Caleb was so amazing to connect us with Amy Nail of the Olathe Schools' Pathway Program. They met with the Olathe school district on Thur. 1/26 to give 2 FM presentations to Olathe high school students. Ken Scott, Michael Kizzee, and Caleb Hunt all gave their FM experience as part of the presentation.

With Caleb's introduction to Amy, we've been able to meet with local trade school students at JCCC to generate curiosity in FM careers. Janelle Agnos gave her FM backstory during this meeting as well. The students expressed interest in an IFMA student club being established on Campus. Our goal is to establish a student club & FM associates degree through JCCC. These classes/meetings will include education, networking, internships, resume skills, and facility tours. Once both are established, we're going to need our chapter's FMs to step into mentorship roles.
