Good Morning,

We hope you're enjoying the start of the spring semester and the beautiful snowfall that happened on campus.

This is the first of many messages about Housing Selection for the 2025-2026 academic year. The process can be complex, so it's important to read these emails carefully and check our website first if you have any questions.

TO DO NOW

The Housing Application for the 2025-26 Academic Year is now live! You can now access your application via the Housing Portal, where you’ll update your profile, contact information, privacy preferences, and more.

ROOMMATE GROUPS

Once you complete the information portion of your housing application, you can create a roommate group. Now is a good time to start considering where you want to live, who you want to live with, and perhaps which factor matters most to you if you had to prioritize one over the other.

As a reminder, only one student should create the roommate group and invite others using their @wfu.edu email addresses. To add someone to your roommate group, they must have completed the information portion of their housing application and leave the “searchable” box under roommate search settings checked.

Additionally, all continuing students can form mixed-sex roommate groups - however, those groups are expected to have plans to ensure their living units (e.g. suite or apartment) are filled throughout the academic year.

Similar to last year, selection times will be assigned based on a roommate group’s AVERAGE housing credits.

LOOKING AHEAD

New this year, students must be registered for at least one class for the Fall 2025 semester by Wednesday, April 9 to participate in Housing Selection for 2025-2026.

As you prepare for selection, which will take place on April 14, 15, and 17, with an intentional pause on April 16, we encourage you to visit and bookmark our Housing Selection page. Here, you’ll find an in-depth timeline for the selection process, important FAQs, information session dates as they become available, and important announcements and updates throughout the process.

As you plan, please note that Martin Hall and Huffman Hall will be unavailable for 2025-2026 Housing Selection.

If you have any questions, particularly as we begin the Housing Selection processes, please feel free to contact our office at housing@wfu.edu or 336.758.5185 during business hours.

Best-
