Counselors

Dear CNG Community,

In the Counseling Department we recognize the power of education to transform the world, and we know that those who educate and change the students’ lives every day for the better are not only our great CNG teachers, but also parents, counselors, administrators, and everyone who in one way or another cares for the younger generations. In some way, we are all changing the world through education.

But, who takes care of the caregivers? During this challenging time, much more than during any other time, all of us as caregivers need to be able to reflect with honesty and recognize that since we are changing the world by educating our children, we have to make sure that we are healthy and safe too. This week we invite all of the amazing caregivers out there to find the time for self care. For some, this might mean spending time with friends and family, for some it might mean some alone time. It can be diving into a good book or seeing a great movie, treating yourself to a relaxing massage, or having a delicious meal. Whatever self care looks like for you, please do it. You deserve it.

As always, but perhaps more than ever, we want to take this as an opportunity to remind you that Counselors are here to support you with anything you need. Don’t forget that you are a caregiver, and we are also here to support you.

Athletics & Condor Activities

Saturday Athletics has been a success and continues to grow in attendance. With more significant numbers of students on campus, we have maintained our community’s safety with CNG’s excellent biosecurity protocols. A tremendous thank you to our parents, students, and coaching staff for making this work. Condor Activities will continue to participate in virtual sessions due to the availability of a consistent schedule and the virtual programs’ strength already in place.

Condor Activities and the Athletics Department would like to wish you a restful Semana Santa break with family and friends.
