2020 Technical Engineer Apprenticeship Program
applications from residents of Illinois and Indiana. Please ensure that interested candidates download an application package, see attached and they must

a time to submit their application package and payment.
ABSOLUTELY NO WALK-INS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

CHICAGO APPLICATION PACKETS
may be submitted by scheduling an appointment time
June 1 – 5, 2020 between 8 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
and
June 8-12 between 8 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Interested candidates MUST SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TIME ASAP TO SECURE Their PREFERRED TIME SLOT

Due to the pandemic, Local 130 will be enforcing strict social distancing protocols during the application process and the entrance exam. Applications will only be open for 3 weeks beginning
June 1st 2020
.
ILLINOIS and INDIANA have different application dates.
All physical transfers of documents will only be accepted during scheduled appointment times.
Entrance exams will be conducted June 22-24 2020
in Chicago, IL and candidates will be notified about their exam slot in the form of a receipt once their application is received.
The top ranked applicants will then be required to present at an orientation meeting (possibly zoom call format) on
July 1 2020
. They will then be informed where to present themselves for a drug screen and agility examination. This will be done on
July 2nd or July 3rd 2020.
Please note, UA Local 130 has a zero tolerance policy for marijuana.
If the interested candidate is successful in ranking, he/she will be starting class in Chicago on July 6 2020!
