29 Fragrant Vines
Go Vertical and Add Fragrance
When we think of vines for the garden we often think first about Clematis and all the beauty their large colourful flowers can provide. Since this is not a genus we usually associate with fragrance, I find that many gardeners don't think about vines as a means to add gorgeous fragrance to their gardens. But there are many amazing vines that can add scent to your garden including some Clematis! You also have Akebia, jasmine, star jasmine, and honeysuckle.
Here's a selection of fragrant vines available now in the Clematis Conundrum Pre-Order. The vines will be arriving soon so get your orders in for pick-up or shipping!

The Camellia Caramba Pre-Order Launched!
33 exquisite cultivars for 2024
Update April 3rd: This pre-order is now closed. Extra plants are now available for in-person shopping at the nursery.
Welcome to the second year of the Camellia pre-order celebrating this wonderful fall-, winter-, and spring-blooming evergreen shrub or tree. Camellias have long inspired gardeners with their exquisite and varied single, semi-double, and double flowers in shades of white, pink, coral, red, and yellow plus bicolours. The sasanqua types begin to bloom in the fall and continue through winter with delicate, fragrant flowers. The larger-flowered japonica types begin to bloom in late winter and early spring. Some hybrids bloom in the middle of winter. They are an amazing group of woody plants to keep colour going in the garden or on the patio when few other plants are blooming - except perhaps hellebores which make a great underplanting! While most Camellia are hardy to just zones 7 and 8, a few are hardy into zone 6. In colder zones they can be grown in a cool greenhouse or sunroom protected from freezing. Have fun!
| | These are some of the beautiful Camellia available now for pre-order. |
