Al-Amal School 2nd Annual

Senior Umrah

The Class of 2026 Senior Umrah Trip was a great success (alhamdulillah), providing students with a meaningful balance of ibadah, learning, and enjoyable activities. The group spent five days in Madinah and five days in Makkah, where they performed Umrah—some students even completing it multiple times on behalf of their parents and grandparents. Throughout the journey, they deepened their spiritual connection, gained valuable knowledge, and created lasting memories together. In the holy cities, they also made heartfelt du’aa for their families and the entire school community, making the experience both personally fulfilling and uplifting for all.

Laila's Father

The 2nd Annual Senior Umrah trip was a deeply meaningful experience for our seniors, though it felt incomplete without their classmate Laila Hafidh, who fell seriously ill just before departure; her father, Ibrahim Hafidh, also stayed back to care for her. Throughout our time in Makkah and Madinah, students, teachers, and parents kept Laila and her family in their duaa, praying for her swift recovery. We trust that Allah, in His mercy, will grant them the same reward as those who traveled, as taught in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and extend that hope to all who intended to join but were unable due to circumstances beyond their control. Laila, you were truly missed, and we continue to pray for your full shifaa’
