The 2nd Annual Senior Umrah trip was a deeply meaningful experience for our seniors, though it felt incomplete without their classmate Laila Hafidh, who fell seriously ill just before departure; her father, Ibrahim Hafidh, also stayed back to care for her. Throughout our time in Makkah and Madinah, students, teachers, and parents kept Laila and her family in their duaa, praying for her swift recovery. We trust that Allah, in His mercy, will grant them the same reward as those who traveled, as taught in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and extend that hope to all who intended to join but were unable due to circumstances beyond their control.
