Grant Unto Him Eternal Rest
The Catholic Church mourns the passing of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI on December 31, 2022. Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament joined churches across the world in offering the Holy Eucharist for the repose of his soul on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Queen of the Rosary. In honor of this solemn occasion, you likely noticed the bunting that went up over the entrances to both Queen of the Rosary and St. Julian, as well as the images of Pope Benedict XVI on our sanctuaries. Over the next few weeks, we invite you to discover more about our Emeritus Holy Father in the bulletin or on our website.

Adult Education: The Case for Jesus
Can we trust the Gospels? Do we really know who wrote them? Do the Gospels communicate truth—or fabricated fables? Who is Jesus? Who did Jesus claim to be? We join Dr. Brant Pitre as he draws evidence from both early Christian and non-Christian writings attesting to the authenticity, authorship, and dating of the Gospels, and as he gives an in-depth look at the Gospel accounts of Jesus’s Crucifixion, Resurrection, and the proclamation of Christ’s divinity.
This study begins Thursday, January 19, 2023 and will be held over Zoom. Contact the parish office to get the Zoom link. Study workbooks are $10/ea and are available in the parish office now.
