FALL GATHERING

The PW Group Organization within the Presbytery of East Tennessee has announced a fall gathering to take place on Sat., Oct. 28, at the John Knox Center. Contact Helen Grant if you are interested in attending.

VIRTUAL DIRECTORY - PART 2

All the contact information in a person’s directory entry is clickable. If you need to send an email to someone, find their name and click on their email. Depending on your phone or computer settings, your email app will open and you can send it. Need to call them? Touch their phone number – it will ask whether you want to call or message them. Want to take them flowers from your garden? Click the address and it will open Google Maps with driving directions to take you there.

At the end of this month (October 2023), all members, staff, and regular attendees in our database will be “opted into” the Directory, visible to Anyone in the 2^nd Presbyterian church family, whether they have set up their Realm Accounts or not. If you wish to OPT OUT of the directory, please email Bonnie at bsmith@2ndpres.org before 10/30/23.

REALM ABCs SET UP GUIDE

REALM TRAINING CLASSES

Bonnie Smith is offering free training classes this fall on our new congregational connectivity app, Realm.

Classes for anyone will be held on the 3rd week of the month. Classes for leaders of groups are the 4th week of the month. Although you can pre-register, you do not have to sign up for these classes in advance.

This month (OCTOBER), the FISH Pantry is in special need of household and personal items:

Women's adult diapers (small, medium, large)

Our once-a-month FISH team receives phone call requests for food and these additional items; they are sorted, packed, and delivered to each client's household.

All donations should be newly purchased; any quantities would be greatly appreciated.

WE ASK YOU TO NOT DONATE FOOD

(only pet food).
