We will meet in the Barbour Room at 9:30 a.m. This class studies current events through the lens of faith using a weekly curriculum called The Wired Word. All are invited – join us!

Our first Founder’s Day Celebration is almost here!

Remember that we gather for lunch immediately after the worship service in the Fellowship Hall.

Please drop off your covered dish items in the kitchen before worship. Fried chicken, green beans, and potatoes are provided. You bring the rest. If you bring a favorite old recipe, include copies of the recipe. Our visual program is short and informative.

Following worship, any college student or young adult who would like to go to lunch with other young adults is invited to meet at the Baptismal Font. We will go to a local restaurant together and the church will pay for lunch.

There is no Food and Friends this week as we have our Founder’s Day Luncheon, but we will resume on the 27th!

Tickets will be $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Someone from UKirk will sell tickets on Sunday, October 27th,

or you can see Pastor Sarah about purchasing tickets.

This month (SEPTEMBER), the FISH Pantry is in special need of household and personal items:

Dish Soap
Bar Soap
Shampoo
Deodorant
Toothpaste
Toilet paper
Maxi Pads

All food purchases and other items our coordinating team makes are paid for from a church-designated fund specific to the Fish mission. If you feel called to contribute to that fund, you can do so at any time of the year by check (Fish Fund in the memo line), the church website (click on “Give,” then “Fish” in the Fund drop-down), or Realm (click on “Giving,” then “Fish” in the Fund drop-down).
