Pragmatic Presbyterians (formerly known as The Poverty Group) is a group of members and friends committed to responding in gratitude to God's love and grace by following Jesus and serving him among Knoxville residents who are experiencing the impacts of poverty. Churches throughout our community are working together to meet needs that fall in the gaps between social service offerings for these individuals and families.

Did you know? One in six Knoxville residents live below the poverty line. 26% of our neighbors live in poverty, compared to 12% nationally.

Pragmatic Presbyterians will meet at 7 PM on Wednesdays, April 26th, May 10th, and 24th in the Barbour Room. Please contact Kathy Duggan (kduggan55@gmail.com) or Janis Smith (smithjb1@gmail.com) for more information or if you would like to attend via Zoom.

We have an incredible group of seniors this year, and over the next month, we will be taking time to highlight each of them and how UKirk has made a difference in their lives.

We are asking you to consider donating $20.23 in their honor to help us reach our goal of $2,023!

Please consider donating today in honor of our amazing seniors!

Thank you for supporting UKirk and our students!
