Presbyterian Women of Second Presbyterian Church has two exceptional opportunities for women ages 18 years old and older. Both opportunities have short deadlines for application.

Presbytery of East Tennessee annual spring gathering in Chattanooga on Sat., April 20 from 9:00 a.m. - 2 p.m. We will carpool to this event.
National churchwide gathering of PW in St. Louis, Missouri, on Aug. 8-11, 2024. Delegates (church members only) would receive financial assistance. Please contact Helen Grant or Mary Farmer immediately if you are interested.

This month (APRIL), the FISH Pantry is in special need of household and personal items:

Toilet paper
Dish soap
Shampoo
Deodorant
Toothpaste

All purchases of food and other items made by our coordinating team are paid for out of a church-designated fund specific to the Fish mission. If you feel called to contribute to that fund, you can do so at any time of the year by check (Fish Fund in the memo line), the church website (click on “Give,” then “Fish” in the Fund drop-down), or Realm (click on “Giving,” then “Fish” in the Fund drop-down).

THE ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING OFFERING

This special offering will be received on Easter Sunday, March 31st.

This offering will be divided between disaster assistance, hunger programs, and self-development of people.

The families of Bonnie Beals, Brice Gilmer and Pat Wininger;

Sue Jacox, Dick Smith, Frances Yow, Donna Downen, Doux Robertson, Gerry Turner, and Arlys Milligan.

On the Pastoral Care page of our website, we will share more specific updates regarding those on our prayer list. It will be updated frequently by the church staff.
