Message from President
 Bonnie Chapman

Greetings Soroptimists!

My favorite exercise is a cross between a lunge and a crunch

It's called lunch

Thanks so much to Linda Allen for hosting us in her beautiful home on Friday night for After Hours...AND feeding our large group a delicious and healthy dinner!! We all really enjoyed learning about Juice Plus and walked away with a lot of "food for thought!"

Sign-ups...we have so many great opportunities to connect, get involved and participate coming up. Think about jumping in and get your name on some of these lists, the variety and the service is one of the best things about our club... and none of these commitments require much time. Here are some of your options;
  1. Be a Door Greeter at a club meeting
  2. Help with one of our Dream it Be it sessions at Fairview High School
  3. Serve a meal at the Jesus Center
  4. Work a shift at the Home and Garden Show
  5. Represent our club at the Saturday Farmer's Market (sign up coming soon)
  6. Help with the White Card program
  7. Make dresses for girls in Puerto Rico at a Dress a Girl sewing session
It's another great week to be a Soroptimist!

With Gratitude,

What a great After Hours hosted by Linda Allen, Juice Plus.  We not only learned about Juice Plus and the benefits of using it, but Linda cooked us a very healthy dinner.

March Member of the Month
Natalie Conrad

I was born in Philadelphia at a naval hospital and left 3 days later as my mother's pregnancy was the cause of her discharge from the Navy. My father's Air Force career moved my family from place to place. As a result, I went to 10 schools in 12 years. This was not necessarily a bad thing because it helped me to make friends easily and be adaptable to different environments. My favorite place that I lived was Spain. I started high school in New Jersey, but graduated in Roseville, California. I married and had three children. Then remarried and gained two more children. Since we had custody of all of the children it was just like The Brady Bunch.... except... Alice never showed up to cook dinner and clean! I've had many adventures, lots of good times, and been through lots of hard times (and therapy!). Rather than go into all of that I want to share with you two things that I am most proud of.
