Thanks to each and every one of you, The Academic Magnet Foundation is excited to share that they met and surpassed their goal! As of March 1, more than $60,000 has been raised in this year's campaign!
By supporting the Thanks for Giving Campaign, your gifts have made these programs possible:
- ACT/SAT prep classes: 10-week Princeton Review class so every student, regardless of the ability to pay, has access to private test preparation
- Juniors Take Flight (takes place next Friday 3/21): a hands-on workshop with college admission specialists that walks juniors through college applications, essays, resumes and more
- Continuing Education: faculty professional development and teacher appreciation
- Summer Scholars for freshman and transfer students
If you did not have a chance to give and would still like to do so please visit this link. Thank you for all that you have done to make these exceptional programs available to our students!

The Annual #PinkStrong soccer matches will be held Saturday, March 22 at the Ravenel Stadium, in memory of Coach Hamil’s good friend and fellow soccer coach, Ben Pinkerton (the “Pink” in #Pinkstrong), who lost his battle with colon cancer in 2015. The goal is to celebrate Coach Pinkerton, increase awareness of colorectal cancer and raise funds to support the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
Donations of products, experiences, gift cards, services are needed to create custom gift baskets to raffle off at halftime of the Varsity Men’s game. We need your help and would appreciate any in-kind donations towards this effort. Please text or call Amanda Keiffer at 843.822.1624 if you have any items you’d like to contribute, and she will follow up to coordinate.

First of all, what is Camp Saint Christopher? We are an Episcopal Summer Camp located on beautiful Seabrook Island, South Carolina. All are welcome regardless of your spiritual or religious background! With 314 acres of barrier island property, there’s always an adventure to be had! Perhaps you’ll sail or swim on the beach or launch a kayak into the marsh. Maybe you’ll lead a hike on one of our trails (we have 5 miles to choose from!) or host a campfire under the stars. And at the end of the day, you can watch the sunset from the boardwalk or from one of our beachfront cabins with all your new camp friends. Consider joining the team for a fun and rewarding summer leadership opportunity that will also help you reach your volunteer service hour requirements! Learn more at this link! |
