The Morning Star Weekly Newsletter Vol 5, Edition 29 3/16/2021
Dear Morning Star Families and Friends,

Please help me welcome our new Behaviorist, Lauren Gianino. Mrs. Gianino comes to Morning Star highly recommended as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Mrs. Gianino will work collaboratively with teachers to facilitate social skills programs in the classroom, while providing direct therapy to individual students as needed. She will give consultation and feedback on the
implementation of students’ behavior protocols and classroom management strategies. I am thrilled to have Mrs. Lauren Gianino at Morning Star working with our teachers and students.

Many Blessings,
Elaine Shott, Principal
We hope you enjoy this video created by MSS student Brandon. He has included teachers and staff in his latest video for St. Patrick's Day! It will put a smile on your face.
FROM YOUR DEVELOPMENT TEAM
A HUGE thank you to our SPONSORS so far...
Walsh Investment Consulting, J-Tech Institute, Nimnicht Buick GMC, Parliment Family Foundation, Auld & White Constructors, and Jorge Carillo

Please help us find Sponsors! We need a Putting Contest sponsor, a Dinner sponsor, a Golf Ball sponsor and a Cigar Lounge Sponsor.
WE NEED PRIZES AND AUCTION DONATIONS!
Games and Silent auctions are a great way to maximize revenue for our school. And no event would be complete without fun prizes and a few tables filled with exciting auction packages. Items such as travel/dining experiences, sporting event tickets, beauty and spa certificates, sports memorabilia, music and entertainment venues, family outings, technology, gift baskets, jewelry and high-end items are just a few ideas. And of course, monetary donations are always appreciated. No item is too small or too large. We will put anything you provide to good use.

In addition to items your family donates, please ask the businesses you frequent to also help out. Click HERE to print a “Community Partner” letter that you may use when speaking to a business. Please make sure to also complete a donation form so we can thank you (and others) properly. Click HERE to print the donation form.

To discuss sponsor packages, prize donations or other ways you can help, please contact Maria Johnson, Director of Development, at (904) 962-5080 or [email protected]
ON CAMPUS
Every year, on March 14, the world celebrates Pi Day to recognize the mathematical constant, Pi. It defines as the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. The value for Pi is 3.14. High school students celebrated by playing a game to see who could memorize the most digits of Pi. Click HERE to watch.

Congratulation to 9th grader Kemi who memorized and recorded the first 114 digits of Pi.
A blessing was bestowed upon the high school rings by Father Boddie at our March Mass. The students loved showing off their rings.
