RE-WILDING BRINGS US A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE OF WORSHIP APRIL 30 at 10:30 AM
On Sunday morning of our Re-Wilding Conference, April 30 at 10:30 AM, we will offer a special worship service that amplifies the voices of those who have had profound experiences of the Holy. How they've experienced God is important to hear, and bringing their voices to us is unique as they do not typically find a welcome in the traditional church. This last day of our conference gathers together much of what we have been learning in theory and puts it into practice. God will surprise you, move you, excite you and bring you hope in perhaps an unexpected way.
Please mark your calendars now!
Join us live-streamed or in person, for worship
Sunday, April 30 |10:30 AM | Mission Valley Sanctuary | One service only this Sunday

If you have participated in the book study, this will be a good review and reinforcement. These learnings will guide us into the future. Don't be surprised when the re-WILDING occurs! Passing Love through Milk and Eggs
Thank you to those of you who heeded the call to help the Food Ministry continue to provide milk and eggs to our food distribution partner, Wesley United Methodist Church in City Heights. Those 60 dozen eggs and 100 half-gallons of milk provide more than basic nutrition to so many of our San Diego neighbors. They provide a sign that God’s love surrounds them even in tough times.
At current prices, 12 eggs and ½ gallon of milk cost $12.00. Several members of the Food Ministry have committed to pledging a Special Gift designated for the Food Ministry on a weekly or monthly basis. Won’t you join us in sponsoring one or more shares of these essentials on a continuing basis?
For more information or to explore volunteer opportunities with the FUMCSD Food Ministry, reach out to Noel Haskins-Hafer (nhaskinshafer@gmail.com).

When is a prayer quilt appropriate?
Anyone in special need of prayer is an appropriate recipient of a prayer quilt. We pray for one another in times of illness, injury, or sorrow. We also pray for them at times of great change or transition in their lives. Anyone can request a quilt for another person. We refer to the requester as the quilt’s sponsor. To sponsor a prayer quilt for someone in need of prayer, be sure to ask for their agreement to be a recipient. Ask them what prayers they need. Learn more about the Prayers & Squares Quilt Ministry here and please fill out the online request form.
