Tell Me Something Good: Protection and Care for the Vulnerable

Deuteronomy 24:17-22

This Sunday in worship we will read about that practice of “gleaning” that is taught in the book of Deuteronomy as a way to care for the vulnerable. What is gleaning and how does it intersect with our way of living today? In worship we also will pause to remember the lives lost and impacted by the King Soopers Tragedy that occurred five years ago. Join us in being together as we find the Good News in our world today.

We invite you to read our Lenten Devotional "Tell Me Something Good," available online.

HOLY WEEK

Palm Sunday – March 29

8:15 a.m. | Chapel

Prayer, Scripture, sermon, and song to open the holy road.

9:30 a.m. | Outdoor Blessing of the Palms and Procession

The churches along Pine Street gather as one, beginning outside

St. John’s Episcopal Church. After a brief service and the combined choirs singing Hosanna, we move together from Pine to 15th to Pearl

to Broadway – through the city with palms waving, Covenant banners carried, kites lifting hope, and a costumed donkey – before returning

to our own corner.

10:30 a.m. | Sanctuary & Online

The procession carries us into worship as we continue the story and

step into Holy Week together.

Maundy Thursday – April 2

5:00 p.m. | Chapel

A Service of Foot Washing and Holy Communion

On this holy evening we remember Jesus kneeling with basin and towel, washing the feet of his friends. In this quiet service of prayer and simple ritual, those who wish are invited to receive or offer the washing of feet as a sign of Christ’s humble love.

7:00 p.m. | Sanctuary & Online

A Service of Shadows with Holy Communion

Through Scripture, song, and the gradual dimming of light, we remember Jesus’ last supper, his prayers in the garden, and the unfolding path toward the cross.

Good Friday – April 3

6:00 p.m. | Chapel

A solemn service of Scripture, silence, and song as we keep vigil at the cross and trust God’s presence even in the depths of suffering.

Easter Sunday – April 5

9:00 & 11:00 a.m. | Sanctuary & Online (9:00 a.m. Online)

Brass! Bells! Choir! Flowers! Great Easter hymns lead us to the empty tomb as we proclaim the Good News of Christ’s Resurrection. Extended musical preludes begin at 8:45 and 10:45 a.m. Childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers is available during worship.

10:00 a.m. | Plymouth Hall

Between services we’ll share a festive fellowship hour with coffee and a table of Easter brunch treats and the good company of joyful hearts!
