NAR Reaches Agreement to Resolve Home Seller Class Action Lawsuits |
On Friday, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) announced an agreement that would end litigation of claims brought on behalf of home sellers related to broker commissions. The agreement would resolve claims against NAR, over one million NAR members, all state/territorial and local REALTOR® associations, all association-owned MLSs, and all brokerages with an NAR member as principal that had a residential transaction volume in 2022 of $2 billion or below. New Flood Disclosure Law
Now in Effect

Starting March 20, 2024, all sellers and certain landlords must now disclose their flood history. New Jersey Realtors® contract of sale, lease, and seller's property disclosure statement are now updated on zipForm to reflect these requirements. Closure of the Trenton Satellite Office of the Association

Members were informed in 2023 that the Trenton property of the Association was for sale. This is to notify you that the satellite office of the Mid Jersey Association of REALTORS® located at 1428 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, will permanently close in March. Our headquarters office, located at 14 Old Bridge Turnpike in South River, and our satellite office, located at 3461 US Highway 22 E Bldg. B, in Branchburg, will remain.
