An important message from Sea Pines Security
Sea Pines Security has seen an increase in the number of calls for service regarding feral cat sightings in Sea Pines. Please be reminded that there are no sanctioned feral cat colony locations within our community. Please report colonies of feral cats or sightings of feral cat feedings to Sea Pines Security at 843.671.7170.
Pet owners should be reminded that household pets should remain on your private property, as pets are not allowed to roam the community without being accompanied by their owner on a leash. A state-issued ticket can be issued to pet owners who do not have their pet properly leashed. For questions regarding feral cats or regulations for leash laws, please contact Sea Pines Security.

Neighborhood Debris Collection - Green Material Only Reminder
CSA weekly yard waste pick up services, provide property owners with collection on “green material”, meaning any plant material that is separated at the point of generation, contains no physical contaminants such as metal, bio solids, food material, mixed solid waste, plastic, chemicals, fertilizers, treated lumber, slag, coal, or foreign objects not originating from a plant. Other debris will not be collected (flower pots, tree stumps, plastic or concrete).

“Green material” includes, but is not limited to, yard trimmings, untreated wood wastes, natural fiber products, trees with approval, and small limbs not over 6” in diameter. CSA processes the “green material” in our Recycling Debris Facility. The “green material” is processed into mulch and provided free of charge to property owners, upon request.

Beachwalk and Boardwalk #18 Closed For Replacement/ Extension
Replacement and construction work on CSA beach boardwalk #18 (between Green Wing Teal Rd. and Cedar Waxwing Dr) is underway. Boardwalk #18 has exceeded its useful life and must be replaced. During this work, the boardwalk will also be extended by 120 feet over the dune to aid in the protection and allow the dune to continue to build. Due to the discovery of extensive drainage failure, the project has been extended an additional 7-10 business days, weather permitting. The beach boardwalk access will be closed to all pedestrian traffic during this time.
