In Matter of Sapphire W., the Appellate Division, Second Department issued a decision that transforms how family courts and child-protective agencies can supervise non-respondent parents in abuse and neglect cases. This training will discuss the case, its implications for our clients and their families, as well as important next steps and questions for family defenders.
