Third Sunday of Lent
Tell Me Something Good: Becoming Bold in Our Love
Matthew 25:31-46
This Sunday we hear Jesus’ vision of the end of history, where the fate of the sheep and the goats turns on simple acts of mercy – a cup of water, a welcome for a stranger, a moment of compassion. As we gather for worship both in our church home and at the Men’s Retreat at Highlands Retreat Center, we’ll listen for good news hidden in this story: that the realm of God meets us in the ordinary moments when we choose to see one another with love.
We invite you to read our Lenten Devotional "Tell Me Something Good," available online.

Artist Talk: Michael Charron Exhibit
Sunday, 3/8, 11:45 a.m. | Plymouth Hall
| The McMane Arts Ministry presents Michael Charron’s Catacomb Saints, tracing his journey from lapsed Catholic to New Thought idealist, to Mystic, and now to spiritual alchemist – transforming the symbols of his Catholic tradition into artistic gold. Drawing on symbolist and surrealist traditions, Charron excavates his inner shadow, unearthing startling and captivating artifacts that reveal both vulnerability and vision. Meet the artist and be in conversation with him. | | | | |

Membership Committee Rolls Out
Navigator Program
| If you are new to the church and want to learn more about its programs and groups or if you’re a long-time member with knowledge to share, the Navigator Program can help! The Membership Committee will link new members with long-time members who will help them learn more about First Cong’s boards, committees, ministries, and small groups. Our goal is to integrate new members into our church community. For more information or to become part of the Navigators, contact Nancy Wade. | | | | Purchase or Knit a "Melt the Ice" Hat with Us | Join our FCC Knitting Group in support of the ICE protests, by purchasing a “Melt the Ice” hat or knitting one with us. All proceeds will go to support Casa de Paz, a Colorado-based immigration aid organization. This hat was worn in the 1940s by Norwegians as a form of visual protest against Nazi occupation of their country. Within two years, the Nazis made these protest hats illegal, and they are now a sign of resistance. Sign up here if you would like to purchase one or would like to help with knitting. | | | | Unable to attend this year’s Annual Meeting? You can still stay connected to all that’s happening. 2025 Annual Report is now available and offers a look back at the past year – celebrating the life, ministry, and impact of our congregation. Take a few moments to read and enjoy the 2025 Annual Report. | | | | |
