The 3 Absolutes of Christian Living
“This is life eternal, that they might KNOW Thee” John 17:3
1. ABIDING in Christ! “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the Vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me” John 15:4 If we don’t practically established our daily life in Christ, all else in Christianity is VANITY.
2. ONENESS with God & One Another! “That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and in You, that they also may be one in US, that the world may believe that You sent Me.” John 17:21 WHEN we achieve the spiritual unity in Jesus’ last prayer, THEN the world will see that we all have something worth living for.
3. LIVING the new life! “Lord, what would Thou have me to do?” Acts 9:6 KJV. Daily, hourly we are to FILTER everything in and through Jesus Christ. Then our life will produce the beautiful fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control!
These 3 absolutes-ABIDING-ONENESS-LIVING IT, are the solid footing that is so sadly MISSING in Christianity today. This is why we are so POWERLESS to achieve what God has called us to.
I love being in God’s creation, it brings me closer to Him.
