Friends,
Recently I spent time on a Zoom call with Jeff Holloway.
A little history:

For 33 years Jeff served as a minister of: youth, education, administration, missions, and evangelism at First Baptist Church Crosby. Jeff has been married to Michelle for 21 years, and they have three children, Matthew, Samuel, and Caroline.
Jeff connected with Reach Out Youth Solutions through Super Summer Texas over ten years ago. As he began to implement the Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry strategy in his church, he said that it “gave our ministry a tool that would help us train and take our youth ministry into a solid growth spiral sharing the gospel and making disciples who make disciples.” In 2010, Jeff became certified as an Eagle Leader (a certified trainer for Reach Out).  Jeff and two of his students are featured in videos on our online training platform. See Jeff’s video below.
Several years ago, while on a mission trip in Honduras, Jeff and Michelle met Shannon Hopkins, with 61 Isaiah Ministries. They discussed the possibility of beginning a partnership between her organization and their church. Beginning with that experience, God began to develop a deep love for the people of Honduras in the Holloways. As time passed, it became clear that God was leading their family to serve Him in Honduras with 61 Isaiah Ministries. In November, 2023, their family will have completed 3 years of a five-year commitment to share the gospel and serve the Lenca Indians in the mountains of Northwest Honduras.
The Lenca live in approximately 1,200 separate villages and total 116,000 people. Most of the men work as farmers, cultivating coffee, sugarcane, beans, corn, and garlic. The literacy rate among the people is less than 50%. For most children, the highest education level any of them will achieve is 6th grade. These people are the poorest people in Honduras, which is the 4th poorest country in the Western Hemisphere (after Haiti, Nicaragua, and Guyana).

While living in Honduras, Jeff also serves as Reach Out’s Country Leader for that country. Over the last year, Jeff has trained 14 church leaders in Jesus-Focused Youth Ministry, and as a result there are now four new churches implementing JFYM in that country.
Jeff passionately believes in discipleship that results in disciple makers. As we talked, he expressed how excited he was that they were experiencing what he called “three deep discipleship.” In the village where he lives, he has now discipled young men, who are discipling young men, who are discipling young men. Three Deep Discipleship! Now THAT is generational impact!

Will you take a moment to pray for Jeff and his family?
Pray that they continue to walk in spiritual, physical, and relational health.
Pray for them, as they make daily decisions regarding family and ministry life.
Pray for the network of youth leaders that is being trained in this
region of Honduras.
Pray that many young people will be saved and discipled through
these leaders and churches.

One final thought:
Would you consider financially partnering with Reach Out today? Your gift helps us provide resources and support for leaders like Jeff all over the world who are being used to reach the next generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Jesus is Lord,
Randy Riggins, President
