Bear with us for ONE LAST last, short, sweet request of 2013 for your support from the US Federation of Worker Cooperatives. As you wind up your year, we offer you three good reasons to become a sustainer member at $10/month or more:

1. 100% of your sustainer contribution
goes to build the power of worker cooperatives.

Period. We respect the hard-earned support of our members and sustainers, and we do more with less than any organization we know.
Your sustainer contribution pays our staff, who work tirelessly to promote and support worker cooperatives. Our member-elected Board is all volunteer. We are working together with you to make worker ownership a more powerful tool for economic justice for more people.


2. We're asking.
Really "like" us!

And we are asking YOU first. So many grassroots organizations don't take the time and effort to simply ask their supporters for, you know, real support. We have a crazy dream that if 10% of our "Likes" on Facebook, or 1 of every 5 people who calls us for help, would support us with $10/month, we could pay for nearly a full staffer with those sustainer memberships.  

 

 

3. We're ready to get to work!

We cranked up the Grassroots Fund-o-Tron 4300AJ for this push, but it's nearing the end of its work life on this project. It's really starting to creak and wheeze, and we'd like to repurpose it for the good work of providing member benefits, services and education to the public and advocacy to support worker cooperative growth. Help us give the the Fund-o-Tron a well-deserved rest! Become a USFWC sustainer by year-end!  

Sustainer Members are individuals who commit at least $10 a month to provide reliable, community-sourced revenue that we can use to do things we might not be able to do with grants. $10 per month from 200 people will allow us to dramatically scale our work in 2014.
