My home garden is full of flowers, vegetables, herbs, and fruit bearing plants (e.g., fig tree, blueberries, strawberries). Earlier this summer I noticed a volunteer sunflower growing in my lettuce patch (shown to the right). I decided to let it grow; and thrive it did. This huge bloom grew over four feet tall and provided shade for my lettuce, beauty for my family, and seeds for the birds.
Sometimes things appear to be out of place. However, given the opportunity such things often provide unexpected and exquisite value! Believe in spontaneity and
let it grow.
