Here are 3 fabulous reasons WHY we should exercise 2-5x weekly:
- A recent longitudinal study published by Columbia's medical school found that by combining cardio and resistance exercise 3x a week for 30 minutes can slash incidence of heart disease by up to 25% and increase lifespan by 8 years.....um yes please!!!
- Mood because you are only ONE workout away from a great mood!!
- Exercise stimulates mitochondrial bio-genesis (I have mentioned this before), no need to understand that term but know that it plays a huge role on energy production at the cellular level.
AND......it will be raining all weekend so no excuses not to exercise this Saturday and/or Sunday :)
