It's officially Give to the Max Day (GMTD) week! Minnesota's giving holiday on November 18 helps raise funds for the animals in Ruff Start's care for the upcoming year. Since Ruff Start solely relies on contributions from generous folks like you to continue our life-saving work, we're hoping you can help us reach our $100,000 GTMD goal! 

$100,000 is a BIG number, which will support the direct veterinary expenses of 471 dogs and cats this year (out of the 3,300+ we expect to help in 2021). Whether it's routine vetting to set animals up for success in their new homes or emergency medical care to give animals a second chance at life, Ruff Start works tirelessly to stretch every dollar for the animals that need us most. 
Here are three ways you can help animals during our most important fundraiser of the year:
1. Donate! Early giving is happening now, and any amount can make a difference. 

2. Create a Facebook fundraiser! Fundraisers that raise $250 score a free Ruff Start GTMD t-shirt. Use our GTMD toolkit to help kick off your fundraiser. 

3. Share your WHY! Tell your friends and family why you support Ruff Start Rescue. You could save an animal's life just through your recommendation. Use one of our social media graphics to help share your message.
