30,000 youth groups started!

FAMILY UPDATE

Joy has been learning ballet at preschool and loves it! Joy has a huge vocabulary for 3.5 years old and tells us in detail everything that happens at preschool. When we ask her what happened at school that day, she will say things like “my friend had macaroni and cheese for lunch, and my other friend didn’t take a nap”.

Luke excels at school and is very gifted at math. He can even do multiplication and division problems in his head, even though he is only in 1st grade! Despite being extremely good at math, Luke often talks about how he doesn’t like math. Luke says once you get math done everything else for school is easy.

Luke and Joy play together so much nowadays. It’s very precious to watch! They make up games to play together. They are also starting to spend a lot of time talking together. Luke loves repeating the Bible lessons he learns to his sister.

30,000 Youth Groups

We want to tell you about an Asian Pastor we work very closely with. We call him Pastor Paul. He has started 30,000 underground churches in a very persecuted nation in Asia. He started the first of these churches about 45 years ago and has been planting churches ever since.

We started working with Pastor Paul in 2011, supplying his churches with youth group curriculum and women’s inner-healing & restoration courses. The women went from depressed to full of joy! The youth group video curriculum resulted in youth groups starting for the first time in this church movement and many teenagers putting their faith in Jesus!

Village Youth Group

Over the years we have fundraised to supply 12,000+ churches with this youth group curriculum and 9,000 churches with the women’s courses. We also worked with the underground church leadership to multiply the resources we have given them and have city churches sponsor village churches. We have a very exciting announcement regarding all this!

Pastor Paul just told us, now nearly all of his 30,000 churches have both these programs! These churches have started thriving youth groups! Also, nearly all the women in this church movement completed the women’s course and their lives have been totally transformed! Praise the Lord! We can hardly fathom it all! God is amazing!

We have a team of Asian translators working on translating Bible School teaching into Mandarin Chinese to give Pastor Paul for his churches. Pastor Paul is extremely excited, and he calls and messages us frequently to see how it is going. At the beginning of this year, we set a launch date of November to have the first set of classes all translated and ready to give Pastor Paul. Ever since we set that launch date, we have had tremendous spiritual attacks against us. Examples: AC broke, toilet broke, computer broke, car stopped running, electrical damage (no power to house for a week!), plumbing damage, house sinking.

We believe all the spiritual attacks are because we have a target date of November to launch Bible Schools in 30,000 underground churches. Please pray for us! We really need your prayers! It was so scary to find out our house was sinking, because we didn’t have money to fix it. A very kind friend of ours made us a GoFundMe and all the money we needed was raised! Praise God! We are so grateful to all our friends and family that helped us save our home!
