Learn how to build your own crazy quilting designs in the IQ designer using applique and embroidery motif stitches. Mike will demonstrate how to build the design step by step, and give tips on how to get it all in the hoop easily.

Meet Our Guest Instructors!
Karen Parker

Sharing the joy for creating all things related to fiber and textiles is Karen's passion in life. When machine embroidery hit the home market, Karen dove in head first! With these additional skills, she began to teach classes in beginner to advanced embroidery, digitizing and garment construction in her home studio. She has worked and taught in fabric shops and provided workshops for quilt guilds.
Mike Johns

Mike Johns, the owner of Mama’s Boy Design, LLC, is a Certified Baby Lock Ambassador of Education and Product Educator and Lead Trainer for Durkee Embroidery Hoops, Inc. Mike offers a wide variety of classes on single and multi-needle Baby Lock embroidery machines and Baby Lock sergers.
Pam Damour

Pam’s career spans more than 30 years. She offers professional drapery workroom training and travels internationally to teach specialty techniques. She is co-author of the books “Pillow Talk” and “Cheaper by the Dozen” and producer of 12 DVDs.
