Dear Dreyfoos Supporters,
As we navigate an unprecedented start to a new school year, one thing is always certain – the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation is here to support its students by enhancing the art and academic programs at the internationally recognized Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts.
We are adapting to the new funding needs of our students, families, teachers, and school as a result of the pandemic. While we will continue to provide college scholarships, financial assistance for lessons, art supplies, music instruments, summer institutes, artist-in-residence and guest artist salaries, we must expand our reach. We began this journey by helping Dreyfoos families with COVID-19 relief by assisting those in need with gift cards for basic necessities and paid furloughed artists-in-residence; but we know there is more to be done.
For this school year, we have shifted our focus to the 30th Anniversary Resilience Fund. Whether school is virtual or in-person, we need your help to provide flexible funding for emergency resources students and faculty will require this school year. In addition to our regular support, we will be ready to provide school supplies, basic needs, sanitation and personal protective products to ensure safety, health, and well-being, and additional teacher instruction hours not funded by the school district. Our school has flourished for the last 30 years and we are committed to continue ensuring excellence for the next 30.
Together we will empower the students to grow and thrive during this challenging time and ensure the development of their talents, helping them to succeed academically, and most importantly: stay engaged in school! If your circumstances allow, I hope you will consider making a donation. I am asking you today to make a donation to help us reach our goal of $50,000 for our 30th Anniversary Resilience Fund.
Thank you for joining us in saving the arts. We’re stronger together: One family! Stay safe!
