3RD ANNUAL SENIOR CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON
On Friday, December 6th, 2024, we proudly hosted our annual Senior Christmas Luncheon. Over 300 seniors from the ward joined us for an afternoon filled with delicious food, dynamic music, and exciting prizes. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Regency Inn Banquets for providing the venue, Kelvyn Park JROTC for their invaluable assistance, and Healthcare Plus for generously donating the prizes. Events like these are made possible through the support of our neighbors and the enthusiastic participation of our incredible residents. We look forward to creating even more memorable moments next year!

2025 BUDGET PROPOSAL
It is with a heavy heart that I shared the news on December 16, 2024, that the proposed 2025 budget was approved by a narrow margin of 27-23. As one of the 23 alderpeople who opposed the budget, I am deeply concerned about the burden this decision may place on the residents of the 31st Ward. Unfortunately, we will be moving forward with this budget, but please know that I remain committed to serving and supporting the residents of our ward. I will continue to advocate for your best interests and work tirelessly to address any challenges that may arise.
For those who may not follow me on Facebook, I wanted to share my letter along with a look at the final vote count.
