25th District Gun Turn-in Event for Area 5

On March 23, 2024, I participated in the 25th District Gun Turn-in event for Area 5. Anytime we can work toward getting guns off the streets is a step in the right direction. Thank you to Pastor David Potete of Northwest Community Church for hosting this event. Also, thank Commander Johnson of the Office of Community Policing and Commander Nelson Perez of the 25th Police District. In the end, 90 guns were turned in.

Kelvyn Park H.S. JROTC Military Ball

On Friday, March 22, 2024, I was invited as a guest speaker at the Kelvyn Park High School JROTC Military Ball. It was a wonderful opportunity to address the cadets who represent the future leaders of this great city. I am grateful for the invitation and commend Kelvyn Park's High School staff for their exceptional work with our youth.
