Last weekend, I had the joy of joining hundreds of volunteers at the Adopt-A-Family weekend. Even after 17 years at The Care Service, it’s still a blessing to be part of this heartwarming Christmas tradition. This year, 367 families from agencies and school districts in St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren will have a great Christmas through Adopt-A-Family because someone out there cares about them.

367 Families Received Presents through the Adopt-A-Family Christmas Program

The past weekend, hundreds of volunteers came together for the Adopt-A-Family Christmas program. 900 individuals (including 454 children and 136 senior citizens) received presents through the program.

Another Affordable Home Closed!

The Care Service just purchased another affordable housing unit, increasing the number of affordable and transitional homes we own and manage to 16! These homes are rented to families at an affordable rate as they work toward long-term stability.

Holiday Schedule

Thank you for supporting The Care Service throughout the year! Please note that we will be closed from Tuesday, December 23 at 1:00 p.m. through Friday, January 2, and will reopen on Monday, January 5.

50% State Tax Credit Available

Donate by December 22 to receive a Missouri Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) tax credit equal to 50% of your contribution. NAP tax credits are available to businesses and individuals with business income. Please call us at 636-441-1302 ext. 6718 to confirm availability.

*Please note, NAP credits are separate from Food Pantry Tax Credits. This information applies only to NAP Tax Credits.
