3DE@West Forsyth Update
We did it!
West Forsyth has wrapped up its first ever 3DE Case Challenge with our partners at MarketSource.
  • Students were able to dive into our model by further researching MarketSource as a company, pulling together amazing and innovative ways for MarketSource to strengthen its presence in the community.

  • They had the opportunity to engage with business professionals via small-group coaching to push their ideas and pitches to the next level.

  • Finally, all together as a 9th grade cohort, we culminated our Case Challenge by having our top three student teams present to LIVE judges.
  • During our Culminating Event, we also had students begin planning for post-high school options, guiding them to think critically about what it will take for them to get there.

  • We also threw in some high-energy fun with a fast-paced mini-challenge that had students living out the Case Challenge Competency of Effective Collaboration.

What a strong and successful way to hit the ground running with this inaugural cohort of 3DE at West Forsyth!

3DE MINDSET AWARD WINNERS
Based on our Shape Your Mindset by SPANX we will highlight two students each case challenge cycle who were exemplars in demonstrating mindset or mindset growth. The entire 3DE@West Team selects the honorees.
Our first award is focused on AIMING HIGH.
BROADCASTING LIVE FROM WEST FORSYTH!
West Forsyth was proud to host Junior Achievement of Georgia’s Inaugural 3DE Town Hall. Karl Mercer joined JA’s President and CEO, John Hancock and Ericka Hilliard, 3DE Regional Director, as they broadcasted live from both West Forsyth and Savannah High Schools virtually for 3DE business and industry partners and volunteers. Mr. Mercer was able to highlight West’s 3DE teachers and student cohort, while sharing the success of our launch this year!
