School Age Children are welcome. High School Students who need volunteer hours please bring their signing forms or vouchers.
You need to contact me to tell me you are coming at 919-413-3868
What to wear: Dress to be outdoors, bring gloves, packing tape, extra boxes that fits a meal for a family of 4 and bring food you have bought but decided not to eat. What are we doing? You will be sorting cans, packing boxes, and delivering these boxes plus helping give out toys.
Note: The give-away starts about 2:00 pm, so please arrive before 1pm.

Directions: Take 440 Beltline to Rock Quarry Road, exit north, drive 4/10 mile, turn at two left lanes, staying on Rock Quarry Road. Helping Hands Mission is the white building on the right 1 mile from the 440 beltline.

If coming from North Raleigh from US 540: Go North Left Turn Falls of Neuse Road 3.3 to 3.4 miles Turn left on Old Falls Neuse, in 2/10th of a mile turn right at 35MPH sign and Curve Sign. 12030 Old Falls of Neuse is just before the Bridge, if you see a bicycle rental the bike guy or the dam, you have missed your turn.
There is a difference between old Falls of Neuse and Falls of Neuse.
We are not meeting at the bathrooms, but we will go there first.

Directions to Lake Johnson from US 440 take Gorman Street exit north one mile turn left on Avent Ferry Road. Go .7 miles take right on Athens Drive. Drive .3 miles to left turn for Thomas G Crowder Woodland Center on Jaguar Drive.
It takes 45 minutes to Lake Johnson from Wake Forest, Zebulon, Durham.
From Fayetteville allow an hour and 45 minutes and from Goldsboro allow for one hour and 25 minutes travel time.
Dogs on leashes are allowed.
This trail is about 3.5 miles with three steep hills.

From 64 and 264 headed east after Zebulon Follow Signs to Five County Stadium. Exit to 264 at Exit 436 then Exit 21 to NC 39. Take a right when you see Five County Stadium to your right and US Foods sign to your left you are 4.5 miles away from Wilder Road. At the County line you are 4 miles away. As you go into a curve the 2nd road to your left is Wilder Road. If you pass a Ramm Backhoe Service sign you have just past, it. Your first entrance on your left, you will see a wooden fence and a red and white building. As you drive in the tan building up the wheelchair ramp is the worship area.
From NC 39 highway and NC 231 highway junction going north on NC 39 you are 9/10th of a mile from Wilders Road. When you see the Ramm Backhoe Service sign your next road is Wilder.
