The numbers are in!
-
Indian River County has moved up 24 spots in the state's ranking in 3rd grade reading since 2019.
-
Despite 63% of our Pre-K to 3rd grade students being economically disadvantaged versus the state average of 56%, Indian River County is now ranked 7th in third grade reading out of 67 districts.
"This amazing accomplishment couldn't have happened without the unique public/private partnership with and support of The Learning Alliance and its donors."
-Dr. David K. Moore, Superintendent
Congratulations to Dr. Moore and the School Board
on this outstanding achievement!
We are honored to be a part of this partnership and provide all of the resources we can to improve our district's literacy rates. Of course, the resources and programming we provide would not be possible without your support. Thank you for your donations of time, talent, and treasure, helping us make strides toward our mission of 90% literacy by the end of third grade.
