LAKESIDE ACADEMY GOOD MORNING BUFFALO
JULY 8th

Be sure to mark the next GMB on your calendar now! Make a trip out to the Lake Charlotte area and see a hidden gem in our community - the MN Teen Challenge treatment campus for troubled boys. They offer help for substance abuse, bipolar disorder, ADHD, self harm, depression, anxiety and anger management as well as other behavioral programs onsite for a 6-12 month season. Boys are provided their education while receiving the services.

NEW MEMBERS 2021
WRAY AUTOMOTIVE
908 1st Street, Buffalo
763-684-1811

Though they haven't moved yet, this photo is the newly remodeled space Wray Automotive will be. If you recall, this is the old Buffalo Automotive building, behind Ryan's Auto Mall, that was operated by John Berg for many years.

David Wray, has run his service business from his home since 1997 and it has grown into a family run business with his son Mike and wife Colleen. They are expanding and moving into town! The name will also change from David Wray to Wray Automotive. They plan to open next month!

David used to work at a dealership but started his own service and repair shop to better serve the customers with his experience in domestic and import vehicles of all makes and models. Staff there are factory trained in several manufacturers including GM, SAAB, Alfa Romeo, Subaru and Mazda. They pride themselves in honest reliable customer service!

I have pressed my nose against the glass and the space will be great! We will have them host a GMB so everyone can come and share in their growth!
AMBASSADORS ON THE MOVE
OLSON CHIROPRACTIC
130 Lake Blvd S
682-1849
www.OlsonChiropracticCenters.com

We found it humorous that there are three Olson’s on the block – with Mark Olson Chiropractic, Ryan Olson as part of the chiropractic team and Mark Olson State Farm next door. The Ambassadors met with Dr. Ryan and assistant Jessica.

Dr. Mark Olson, a Buffalo native, opened the chiropractic office in 1990 and Dr. Ryan joined him in 2012. They have two FT and one PT staff and are open Monday and Wednesdays 8-6:30, Tuesdays from 2-6:00, Thursdays from 10-5:00, Friday from 8-noon and every other Saturday from 8-9:00 a.m. They currently serve patients from 5 to 85! They see a lot of families.

Dr. Ryan gave us a tour of the office where they not only have treatment rooms, but can do orthotic testing, digital x-rays, rehab therapy and more. What they enjoy most is being able to see the progression of healing. If they can’t treat people they will refer them often for an MRI or a neurologist etc…

Dr. Ryan is married and lives in Plymouth and has a 3 year old son and a 4 month old daughter. Both Dr. Olson and Dr. Ryan like making Buffalo a healthier community.
Above as bookends are Ambassadors Tina Anderson/Anchor Realty and Rob Stark/Edward Jones with Dr. Ryan Olson and assistant Jessica. Also something to show that chiropractors have a great sense of humor!
BUFFALO DAYS A HUGE SUCCESS!
If you were out for any or all of the Buffalo Days festivities, you were met with a crowd! The movie in the park, the fireworks, the carnival, the parade (estimated 4,000 people), the food court....EVERYTHING was well attended and people didn't seem to mind waiting in line for that bucket of curds!

Thank you community for showing up, thank you sponsors for making this happen, and thank you volunteers for being the behind the scenes do gooders so that everyone could have a good time! There were a lot of people, adults and children, with smiles on their faces. That's what it's all about!
ARE YOU A BUTTON WINNER?

We do have a winner for the $500 prize - meet Kristine Reid! $100 was claimed with the Buff-N-Glo button board as well. The remaining winning numbers are:

1038, 711, 681, 235
WHERE HAVE ALL THE WORKERS GONE?

It's been the water cooler chat around the country - nobody can really point to one thing that is making the worker shortage we see around us today! Covid...unemployment...youth not in the workforce...the change in lifestyle as a result of working from home.... probably all of it and more! See the link below for some conversation around it. Another life change as a result of the pandemic?
