Register Your Child for the 4:12 New School Year Youth Group Program

This past Wednesday, August 30, we kicked off the school year. It was great to see so many young people excited to come and be part of what God will do this year at 4:12. If your child wasn’t able to make it, no worries, just make sure they are registered to join us next on September 6. 

Also, we are kicking off our Small Groups on September 13^th together with the Wednesday Night Meals. The Whole family is invited to attend.

Because we like to start things the right way, we are inviting you and your friends to join us for our All Church Fall Kick-Off Event for all ages. Littles, teens, parents, and grandparents are all welcome to join us.

You can’t miss this opportunity to have a great time with your Church Family!

We are receiving applications for the Student Leadership Team now until September 13.

The SLT is a great opportunity for High School Students who are committed to following Jesus and want to explore and grow in the calling God has for their lives. It’s a valuable time for students to learn by serving and stepping out of their comfort zone.

On September 27 from 5-8pm, our youth community will be joining UNITED INVITE at the NewBo City Market 1100 3rd St SE, Cedar Rapids,IA, United States



UNITED INVITE Night is a FREE one-night event bringing middle school and high school students together from all over Cedar Rapids, and surrounding cities, to lift up the name of Jesus and have some fun while doing it! This is open to ALL STUDENTS and 4:12 will join the gathering with many other youth groups as well. Students will need to be dropped off and picked up at the event location.

October 1 at 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm at Marion Methodist Church – Room 100.

God has entrusted you with an amazing task, which is raising loving, faithful, and caring human beings, and even though I know you are doing a great job, I also know it’s not an easy task. That’s why we are hosting a simple, yet meaningful gathering for a conversation that I'd love for you to be a part of. It's our way of connecting with Jesus and each other on all that He says is possible in the lives of students and everyone they know (including us).

We'll cover what you might expect: plans for the school year, information you want to be ahead of, and so on. But we'll also dig deeper into how we can support your child better and partner with you to do so, in their faith journey.

For that reason, we would like to invite you to join us!

Instead of just a resource for parents in today’s edition of our parent email, I want to extend an invitation to all parents to join a Group Book Study of “Sticky Faith - Everyday Ideas to build lasting faith in your kids”

I highly recommend this research-based book to all parents who want to be proactive in fostering the faith in their children, creating opportunities for sticky faith.
