Register Your Child for the 4:12 New School Year Youth Group Program

The Vision for this school year at 4:12 will be Deep Rooted, which comes from Colossians 2:6-7 “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

We want to help students grow deeper in their knowledge and relationship with Jesus to be able to own their faith and follow the path God has for their lives after all.

We encourage all the parents to register their students to be part of this year’s Wednesday Night programming and partner with us to keep building a community of Belonging, Believing, and Becoming more like Jesus.

We are looking for volunteers to help with childcare and nursery on August 30^th and September 6th. If you are a parent and want to support the program this way, please contact Dani Showalter at dshowalter@marionmethodist.org.

The meal will be served at 6 pm and we will be starting our programming at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary.

We recognize that sports, and other extracurricular activities for students are also happening well into the evening, so we encourage students to join us when able even if it’s just for Small Groups, which is highly valuable for students. 

We are receiving applications for the Student Leadership Team now until September 13.

The SLT is a great opportunity for High School Students who are committed to following Jesus and want to explore and grow in the calling God has for their lives. It’s a valuable time for students to learn by serving and stepping out of their comfort zone.

On September 27 from 5-8pm, our youth community will be joining UNITED INVITE at the NewBo City Market 1100 3rd St SE, Cedar Rapids,IA, United States



UNITED INVITE Night is a FREE one-night event bringing middle school and high school students together from all over Cedar Rapids, and surrounding cities, to lift up the name of Jesus and have some fun while doing it! This is open to ALL STUDENTS and 4:12 will join the gathering with many other youth groups as well. Students will need to be dropped off and picked up at the event location.
