We started a new series at 4:12! This four-week series challenges students to level up their faith as they read through Paul's letter to the Ephesians. As we approach the end of the school year, it is important for students to be encouraged to pursue the purpose God has for their lives.
Level Up: Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians. Throughout this series, we’ll be taking a deeper dive into the New Testament Book of Ephesians, where the Apostle Paul challenged to the Ephesian church (and us!) to fight for unity and level up in our faith.
Series Overview
This four-week series challenges students to level up their faith as they read through Paul's letter to the Ephesians.
Session 1: Brought to Life
Big Idea: Jesus calls us to accept salvation.
Question for Discussion: Why do you think Paul goes through such trouble to emphasize that salvation is a gift we can’t earn?
Session 2: Unity
Big Idea: Jesus calls us to live in unity.
Question for Discussion: Paul talks about unity being based on what we share, not what divides us. What are some ways you’ve seen people let small differences create big divisions?
Session 3: New Life
Big Idea: Jesus calls us to leave our old lives behind.
Question for Discussion: What are some ways we can tell if we are actually changing and growing in our faith versus just going through the motions?
Session 4: The Armor of God
Big Idea: Jesus calls us to prepare for victory.
Question for Discussion: Have you ever faced a situation where standing firm in your faith was difficult? What was that like? How did it turn out?
Our hope is that the discussion questions provided above might lead your family to open conversations about what it looks like for all Christ-followers to seek unity in the understanding that we are all called to live a new, victorious life in Christ.
