Unstoppable Acts is a three-week series that we hope will remind students that Easter isn't the end of the story. In fact, it's really just the beginning! Throughout the series, our students will discover three timeless truths from Jesus' last moments with His disciples: 

Session 2: The Power

Big Idea: The Holy Spirit has the power to TRANSFORM.

Question for Discussion: In the Bible, we see numerous instances of the Holy Spirit transforming peoples’ lives. Is there anything about your life that you think the Holy Spirit might want to transform?

Session 3: The Plan

Big Idea: We have a responsibility to SHARE our stories.

Question for Discussion: If you were to share your “faith story” with someone else, what are the main ideas you’d want to include? What makes those details so special?

Puzzle Day is coming up! Do you enjoy putting together puzzles? Come and join us! Bring your favorite puzzle or join another puzzle goer, bring some snacks, and get ready for a relaxing afternoon. If you would like to bring some puzzles to swap, that is also encouraged! We hope to see you there!

Exciting things are happening at our youth community here at Marion Methodist. After a blessed ten weeks of Alpha, students decided to take a step in faith toward the call of God in their lives. Some of them decided to be more committed to scripture reading, others decided to say Yes to Jesus for the first time, and yet others decided to be more committed to the congregation. Several students expressed their eagerness to be baptized or reaffirm their baptism as a sign of witnessing their faith in the world and committing their walk to Christ.

We are excited to invite the whole congregation to baptisms that will take place on May 8^th at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary of our church. We will have a time of worship together, a short message, and witness young people going through the waters of baptism to rejoice, celebrate, and support their faith journey.
