Greater Potential for In-Person Student Quarantine Starting 4/8
As a reminder, while CCSD93’s schedule beginning April 8 provides greater opportunities for in-person learning, it also means a greater potential for students to be quarantined. If a COVID-19 case becomes present, CCSD93 will continue to adhere to the IDPH Decision Tree, which all schools are to follow. As prescribed by the Decision Tree, this means that an entire class at the elementary level and potentially as much as an entire grade level team at the middle school level would need to quarantine for seven to 14 days if a COVID-19 case were to become present. Siblings of those quarantined may also need to be quarantined.
Please Adhere to Guidance if You Traveled for Spring Break
If you traveled during spring break, CCSD93 strongly recommends that follow the CDC’s guidance for traveling, as depicted below.
Please Continue to Practice Safety
While DuPage County's COVID-19 data continues to trend in the right direction, please continue to stay vigilant in practicing the three W's of wearing a mask, watching your distance, and washing your hands frequently to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and contributing to conditions conducive to in-person learning.
Please review the following for more updates from CCSD93!

Sincerely,

Dr. David H. Hill
Superintendent of Schools
