Help PIE Give Thanks to AMHS Teachers and Staff!

Teacher Appreciation Week is NEXT WEEK and PIE needs your help to shower AMHS teachers and staff with gratitude. PIE will be providing personal notes and a gift card to every staff member and will be raffling off gift baskets. The teachers LOVE the gift basket day and deciding which baskets they would LOVE to WIN! In addition, PIE appreciates any amount given to Venmo which will be split among all of our staff and teachers in the form of gift cards.

Find more information and sign up to provide a gift basket (or get the info to donate through Venmo) at this link!

Snack Donations Still Needed To Fuel Students Through Testing

Every year, PIE coordinates snacks for the students during their AP and Finals Testing break time. As you can imagine, this involves a significant number of students and therefore requires a tremendous amount of snacks. If you are willing to purchase any of the below items, we would be very grateful for your support!

Sign up to donate snacks at this link.

Please deliver items to Ms. Ryan's office by April 25. Ms. Ryan is in room 7111. Please be sure to label the snacks for Testing Snacks.

Memorial Run/Walk This Sunday to Remember Coach Brian Johnson

Please join Raptor Athletics for a community run/walk in memory of Brian Johnson this Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 9 am, at the Park West Track (1251 Park West Blvd, Mt Pleasant SC 29466) as we honor the legacy that Coach Johnson left to Academic Magnet High School, SOA, The Citadel, Charleston Southern University, College of Charleston and the local Charleston running community. We will have a brief introduction and ask that everyone who wishes to run or walk 4 laps together on the track to honor Brian’s contributions and legacy. After the four laps, please feel free to run as long as you wish into Laurel Hill trails or around the Park West area. Around the track infield, we will have some memory cards/books to write memories/sign, and a box to drop written memories if you wish to bring with you.

There will be a small assortment of snacks and water; please feel free to bring your own water/refreshment, as needed. Brian’s family will be in the infield of the track to share stories or chat with anyone who would like to stay after you are finished running/walking. If you are interested in signing up to donate snacks, please use this link.
